12-18 Knots today and a couple of good races - happy with a 14th in the first race. We still feel like the boat doesn't want to 'go' up-wind although we have good speed downwind and try to catch up any lost boats on the upwind leg. Had our best start of any race yet in the second race - well up front and (touch wood) no OCS ;), wind kicked in and we were doing well until the last reach to the finish when the bobble pulled through the kite knot again (the other bobble this time)! Luckily this happened on the last leg, didn't lose too much ground and came 15th. Our bobbles must be jinxed! We now have two new bobbles - please please please don't break again!
Overall a good day, mostly happy with our starts, both our backs feel good today too :) Still felt like a hard day on the water, very glad they didn't want to squeeze 3 races in. It will be a big day tomorrow - +20 Kts forcast and rain.
