Lay of the land

bugger my phone doesn't want to connect to my email in Denmark... so I'm afraid I can't post any more photos. will see if we can't download from phone...hmmm.

Rungsted harbour is lovely, plenty of boats already, flat water... climat is like Sydney in Winter (as expected).
We've stocked up on food, the boys did so separately to us - we have enough cereal to feed an army - 12 packets of different cereal! bought butter milk instead of milk and got a really nasty surprise when going for a big mouthful of meusli this morning....errrrrhh, still can't get that taste out of my mouth!

We took the car and went for a short wonder in town - we have no GPS, no real maps and did not get lost! we're very proud of ourselves ;). The little mermaid is gorgeous but in a very odd part of town - seems to me she now lives between cruise ships, which is a pity.

They have Ben & Jerry's ice cream here!! Yay!! Although none of us quite understand the hot-dog carts on every corner. Not something I relate to Denmark, although it might be a Scandinavian thing - Ikea always has hot-dog stands too.

Our coffee consumption will now dwindle to nothing - we all paid $9,50 AUS for a coffee this morning - we are now all scarred by that moment.
